Fill out the booking form on the Book page. We’ll confirm availability within 24 hours and send a secure Stripe payment link by email to complete your reservation. You can also book directly via Airbnb or Vrbo.

Sunday – Thursday: $289 CAD/night ($326.57 incl. 13% HST)
Friday & Saturday: $389 CAD/night ($439.57 incl. 13% HST)
There is no cleaning fee. Minimum 2-night stay. HST is itemized transparently on all invoices.

Yes, we require a minimum of 2 nights per booking.

A 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) applies to all bookings as required by Ontario law. We show this clearly in every price breakdown — there are no surprise charges at checkout. Your invoice will include the HST registration number.

You’ll receive a full refund if you cancel 14 or more days before your check-in date. Cancellations within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance for added peace of mind.

Yes! Skipper’s Cottage is available year-round. Each season offers something different — swimming and sunsets in summer, fall colours and birdwatching in autumn, and peaceful winter escapes.

Yes — free on-site parking is available for all guests.

Yes, the cottage has full air conditioning — essential for comfortable summer stays when Lake Erie temperatures climb.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM or later. Check-out is at 11:00 AM or earlier. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability.

Very close! Skipper’s Cottage sits right on a creek that connects to Lake Erie, and a sandy beach is just a 3–5 minute walk away. Wheatley Provincial Park is also minutes from the front door.

Skipper’s Cottage is located in Wheatley, Ontario. The exact address will be provided after booking confirmation. Wheatley is approximately 1.5 hours from Windsor, 3.5 hours from Toronto, and 20 minutes from Leamington.

We love animals (the cottage is named after our German Shepherd, Skipper!), but unfortunately pets are not permitted at the property.

No — smoking is not permitted on or around the property.

No parties or events, please. Quiet hours are after 10:00 PM out of respect for neighbours. This is a residential area and a peaceful retreat.
